Okay, this one sounds as soon as a scam. Even the read out screams 2012 clickbait. But trust meReelSnatch lead is lowkey amazing.
I found it in some rarefied Reddit thread (buried when 7 clarification deep below an ad for crypto). Its not on the App Store, but their site walks you through a workaround. Sketchy? A little. But it works.
Pros:

No watermarks.

Saves in HD. Legit 1080p+.

Audio stays in sync (youd be surprised how rare that is).

Cons:

Annoying setup.

Sometimes fails silently, with it acts later than it saved but nada.

Interface looks taking into consideration Windows XP met a MySpace theme.

Still… its my go-to. I even have a shortcut widget.

Why doesnt Instagram just allow us realize this? I mean, TikTok lets you keep next audio (sorta), but IG acts past Reels are nuclear opening codes. Wild.

This ones similar to the ninja of Reels downloaders. You install it, and it just chills in your toolbar. Quiet. Unassuming. You go to a Reel, click the ghost icon, and boomdownloaded. No popups. No redirects. Nada.

Side Rant: Watermarks

Its not. I tested it for two weeks. Didnt miss a single Reel. Even the ones I forgot I watched.

Coolest features:

But here’s the thingI cant pronounce if its real. I downloaded the APK, ran it on a burner phone (dont pronounce me), and it kinda worked? Downloads were clean. But my antivirus app threw a tantrum.
If youre adventurous (and paranoid), attempt it. Just dont blame me if your phone starts ordering pizza on its own.

Real Talk: Should You Even Be take effect This?
Ugh. Im torn. upon one hand, I get it. We want to keep that reel. pretense it to friends. Watch offline. most likely meme it later.
But creators deserve credit. for that reason here’s my rule: I single-handedly download Reels if Im using them personally. Never reposting. Never monetizing. Just hoarding, tbh.
Also, if a Reel has 10K+ likes, itll probably liven up forever. But that little bay one subsequent to 34 likes? Might disappear adjacent week. for that reason yeah. Sometimes you gotta save.

One More Hack: Use IGReelTXT
Weird trick I found. You glue the Reel URL into IGReelTXT, and it spits out a .txt file gone the audio link, thumbnail URL, and a hidden MP4 file link. Its taking into account IGs debug data or something.
Totally nerdy. But it works.
Kinda past peeling assist the internet curtain and wise saying aha!.
